Maimonides Take On Health Seminar

Background:

Maimonides (Rambam in Hebrew) was a scientist, doctor, researcher, spiritual leader and one of the greatest, most thoughtful philosophers and intellectuals ever to arise for the Jewish people. His work stands in line with the great works of the Greek philosopher Aristotle.

After being exiled from Spain, to Israel and then to Egypt and losing his brother, he became a well known doctor. Maimonides was the first doctor to have a holistic approach, who believed that a healthy mind and a healthy body is the secret for good life and longevity. His method’s primary health goal is to give the body optimal conditions, based on a combination of eating in moderation, living an active lifestyle and balancing mental health.

Maimonides' great work, written 800 years ago, not only fits our life today but it might be the answer we've been waiting for; to live a more healthy and happy life mentally, emotionally and physically.
